Universal Resort originated 1990 with Universal Studios (copied from California) and is now a resort with a lot of action – both inside the parks and in general. Islands of Adventure is the second park, Volcano Bay sometimes is called “the third park”.
Universal has managed to use every single square meter for attractions in the Orlando parks and they are constantly adding new hotels in the area. The most recent addition is a “double hotel” on the former Wet ‘N Wild area.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter plays a huge role in both parks. City Walk is a nice area at night for those staying near the Universal Resort.
Volcano Bay is a high-tech water park, some of the Universal hotels have direct access to this park.
