Disney price change – all tickets will be seasonal.
Representatives for Disney World in Orlando says “it is to give the guest a better experience”. Critics mean it will complicate the booking procedure.
Book now to avoid a 20 percent price increase!
From mid-October, Disney World will apply the same ticket system on multi-day and combination tickets as they already do on one-day tickets.
Hopefully the Disney price change will mean lower ticket prices during low-intensity days. But with the basic problem that the guest must determine the exact day of the visit (something that will make the booking difficult).
When representatives for Disney World the presented the Disney price change, it was stressed that the new system was added as “a way of delivering the best experience possible for our guests – from the moment they book their vacation to the last ride in the theme parks “.
Already differentiated pricing on one-day tickets (three levels) has created confusion. Now, the Disney prices change is introduced for all types of tickets. For me, it’s enough to watch some Disney tickets at our partner’s Official Ticket Center to see new difficulties for the Disney visitor, even though Disney World itself wants to make it look like a simplification. It is believed that the service gained through My Disney Experience will make it both easier and better for the park visitor.
The park visitor who plans a number of visits to Disney’s parks must decide what day is the first day. Possibility to book an “anytime ticket” (as before), but then the highest price applies.
Orlando’s Disney bloggers uncritically report the news of the Disney price change, while the comments contain some sour comments:
“Now they have gone too far.” “It starts to resemble low cost flights, will they charge extra for the bag too?”
