Epcot – number two of Disney’s theme parks in Orlando. A park that wins in the long run, offers more exciting adventure than you can imagine and organizes popular festivals.
What was planned by Walt Disney to be a real city instead became an exhibition and experimental area. Disney’s future ideas turned into “the perfect suburb” Celebration.

Half of Epcot, Future World, is about the future, but also provides a hefty dose of history. For example, the curious can take advantage of the latest in communication technology.

World Showcase, the second half of Epcot, is the park’s geography and culture lesson. It’s like a permanent world exhibition with pavilions from all corners of the world. For example, you will find vikings and trolls in the Norwegian area.

This part of the theme park is often mentioned as a permanent world exhibition.

Even someone who has not been there recognizes the image – the magnificent globe. The symbol of Epcot.

Spaceship Earth time trip

The globe holds spacecraft Earth, which offers a time trip. The subject is communication and we move from the Stone Age to the future. This ride is part of Future World.

Future World

Behind the facades of the buildings are highly entertaining programs relating to technology and science, as well as attractions connected with the same themes.

Here, for example, Soarin’ (around the world) is a variation of a similar attraction in Los Angeles. In our opinion, a very exciting ride, so fascinating this ride alone is worth a visit to Epcot.

Other examples: Mission Space, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Universe of Energy and many more.

World Showcase

is kind of a permanent world exhibition. Eleven pavilions representing one country each: USA, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, France, Norway, China, Japan, Mexico and Morocco.

Epcot organizes festivals for food, wine, art, music, plants

Disney has always had a very restrictive alcohol policy, something that has changed in recent years.

In the countries’ pavilions alcohol is allowed to reflect the nation’s beverage culture.

Epcot also arranges several different festivals. For example, the Food and Wine Festival is becoming more popular for each year, and there are also festivals with themes about plants and flowers, art and music.
Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival started as early as 1994.

Epcot International Festival of the Arts started in 2017.

Holidays Around The World is devoted to the traditions and celebrations of the different countries.

With about twelve million visitors annually, Epcot is the world’s sixth largest theme park.
